F2/3: Bridge
- Full Name
- Bridge immune-interacting
- SynonymsTerms that have the same, or nearly the same, meaning as the selected cell type.
- unknown
- CategoryClass of which the cell type is a subclass.
- skin fibroblastCL:0002620
- Rationale
- The F2/F3: Bridge was named as the population shared markers with F2 and F3 fibroblasts (Figure 1c), including genes associated with T-cell infiltration and activity (CXCL12, PLA2G2A).(Ge et al. 2023) Total transcript counts were similar between fibroblast populations and doublets were removed during pre-processing, suggesting it was not a composite population.
In elderly patients, we observed a subset of F2/F3: Bridge fibroblasts with high expression of GDF10, MYOC, and PPARG.
In adipocyte tissue, two types of fibroblast precursor are reported.
