Marker Gene Evidence
Gene markers used by researcher to assign this cell annotation.- MRC1, F13A1
Rationale
- MRC1 (CD206) is a C-type lectin receptor expressed by macrophages and monocyte-derived cells, particularly those with a tissue-resident or alternatively activated phenotype. F13A1, encoding coagulation factor XIII A chain, is enriched in monocytes and macrophages and reflects myeloid lineage identity. MRC1 and F13A1 support the identification of myeloid immune cell populations and distinguish them from non-immune stromal and parenchymal cells.
