CD4 is a surface co-receptor confirming CD4⁺ T cell lineage identity. LEF1 (lymphoid enhancer binding factor 1) is a transcription factor associated with memory T cell states. ITGB1 (integrin beta-1) is involved in T cell adhesion and tissue retention, with enriched expression in memory T cell populations. Together these markers identify memory CD4⁺ T cells and distinguish them from naive and effector CD4⁺ T cell populations.
