CD3D and CD3E are components of the T cell receptor signaling complex, confirming T cell lineage identity. CD8A is a surface co-receptor defining the CD8⁺ T cell lineage and distinguishing these cells from CD4⁺ T cells. Together these markers reliably identify CD8⁺ T cells within the T cell compartment.
