This grouping term is used for generic vascular endothelial cells expressing PECAM1, CDH5 and PLVAP that do not clearly fall into arteriolar, capillary, venular or lymphatic categories. Experts here noted that some clusters labeled vascular endothelial contain AQP1 and fibroblast genes and may represent mixed, transitional, or unclearly clustered states, and that there are doublet clusters involving endothelial cells and S2 fibroblasts.
