Feedback Feature Overview
Providing feedback is a core part of collaboration in the Cell Annotation Platform. It allows users to review and improve annotations on both published and private datasets.
In general, feedback falls into two categories:
- Annotation feedback: show agreement or disagreement with the association between clusters and biological entities.
- Metadata refinements: suggest improvements to details of an otherwise correct annotation (for example, marker gene lists).
Who can leave feedback depends on dataset status:
- Published datasets: any authenticated user can contribute feedback.
- Draft datasets: only collaborators on the draft publication can leave feedback during internal review. See Collaborating on the Draft Publication and Internal Review Mode for details.
