Refine Cell Annotation Metadata

Use metadata refinements when the overall cell type annotation is correct, but parts of the supporting metadata need improvement.

This option is designed for targeted updates to annotation metadata details, such as marker genes, naming, or explanatory notes. If you believe the annotation itself is incorrect (for example, it should be split, merged, or reassigned), use annotation disagreement instead.

To open the metadata refinements form, click the Provide feedback button and select Disagree and then click on send your metadata refinements.

To submit metadata refinements, edit the existing fields with your suggestions and click Send Changes. A summary of your refinements will then be displayed. You can remove the submitted refinements at any time by clicking Delete Feedback.
