The integrated Human Breast Cell Atlas (iHBCA) version 1.0 contains 2,128,505 cells from 287 donors, harmonized from 7 published human breast single-cell RNA sequencing studies. Cells are integrated using single-cell variational inference (scVI) with a 100-dimensional latent space and donor-level batch correction. Manual annotation at broad resolution (level 1: 11 cell type groups spanning epithelial, stromal, immune, and endothelial compartments) is in obs['level1_annotation']. Refines the integrated atlas introduced by Reed et al. 2024 (Nature Genetics; DOI: 10.1038/s41588-024-01688-9).
