Skeletal muscle tissue was collected from four healthy adult donors and analyzed using the 10x Genomics Multiome platform. Unsupervised clustering identified 12 distinct clusters, which were annotated and consolidated into 11 cell types.

Cell annotations were generated with scType using marker genes curated from related publications, and then manually reviewed and adjusted based on the top highly variable genes in each Leiden cluster.
